Why is this a monthly fee instead of a one-time website payment?
Because a proper website with a working AI assistant, hosting, and ongoing promotion isn’t a one-time deliverable — it’s a service that needs to keep running. Agencies that quote a one-time fee for something this capable are either underpricing the ongoing hosting/maintenance/AI cost, or handing you a static site with none of that included. RM 249/month means no big upfront deposit, and you only keep paying for as long as it’s actually working for you — cancel anytime and there’s no sunk cost. Prefer to commit upfront? Prepaying 6 or 12 months gets you 1 or 2 months free.
Do I get to review the page before it goes live?
Yes. We share a preview link before publishing. You have 3 rounds of revisions at no charge within the first 14 days. After that, on-request changes are standard (1 business day, no charge for minor updates).
What language does the AI speak?
Bahasa Malaysia, English, Bahasa Rojak (mixed BM/EN), Tagalog, or Khmer — whichever you specify during onboarding. The AI is also capable of responding in the language the customer writes in, which is particularly useful for businesses with mixed-language audiences.
Do I need a domain name before signing up?
No. You can sign up first and sort the domain separately. We’ll assist you in choosing and purchasing one from a registrar like Exabytes, Namecheap, or GoDaddy — the domain cost goes directly to the registrar at cost (typically RM 40–80/year). We do not mark up domain costs.
What happens to my website if I cancel?
Your website stays live until the end of your current billing month, then goes offline. If you own your domain, you can point it elsewhere. We’ll provide an export of your content on request. There are no cancellation fees or penalties.
What if my products or prices change?
Message or email us with the updates. We’ll update both your website content and the AI’s training within 1 business day. There is no charge for content updates — it’s included in all plans.
Can I edit the website myself?
No — we handle all edits for you. Just message or email us what needs changing and we’ll take care of it, usually within 1 business day. This keeps things simple on your end: no login to remember, no editor to learn, nothing to break by accident.
Can I request a custom design outside the template?
The SME Go Digital plans use our standard template — which is what keeps the price accessible and delivery fast. Custom design (unique layouts, animations, advanced styling) is available as bespoke development with separate pricing. Contact us to discuss.
Can I have more than one page on my website?
SME Go Digital is a one-page website product. All content — services, about, pricing, reviews, contact — is structured as a scrollable one-page layout. Multi-page websites fall under bespoke development. For most SMEs, a well-built one-pager significantly outperforms a poorly maintained multi-page site.
Can I add a video to my website?
Yes — any video you already have (a YouTube link, a promo clip, a testimonial) can be embedded on your page. We don’t shoot or produce video for you, but if you’ve got footage, we can get it on your site.
Does the AI replace my WhatsApp?
No. The AI handles the initial conversation — answering questions, recommending products, and qualifying the lead. When a customer is ready to buy or book, the AI collects their name and WhatsApp number and notifies you. You then take over on WhatsApp to close the sale. The AI handles the first 80% — you handle the final 20%.
Will the AI reply to comments or messages on my Facebook page?
No. The AI chat lives on your SME Go Digital website, not inside Facebook itself. Share your website link in your Facebook posts, bio, and replies — once someone clicks through, the AI takes over from there, answering their questions and handing serious buyers to your WhatsApp. It doesn’t monitor or auto-reply to comments or DMs on your own Facebook page.
Can the website link to my Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok?
Yes — just give us the links during onboarding (or send them anytime after) and we’ll add them to your page. Customers browsing your site can click straight through to your social accounts.
How often do you promote my business, and where?
Once a week on every plan, including Lite — a featured listing on ThriveBizAsia.com plus a push across our own social, email, and content channels. This is us driving traffic to your page on our channels, not a social media management service for your own Facebook or Instagram — we’re not an agency running your accounts for you.
I already post on Facebook/Instagram/TikTok regularly — why do I need this too?
Posting keeps you visible to people already following you. It doesn’t make you findable by people who aren’t — and increasingly, that includes AI. Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook block outside crawlers from reading what’s posted there, so when someone asks ChatGPT, Gemini, or Google’s AI Overviews to recommend a business like yours, your social posts are invisible to that search — they’re locked inside the platform. A real website is the only thing AI systems can actually read, index, and recommend you from. Your posts also disappear from feeds within hours; your website page keeps getting found indefinitely. You can — and should — keep posting. This just gives you the one thing daily posting can’t: a permanent, AI-findable presence you actually own.
What if the AI says something wrong?
The AI is trained on the specific information you provide in the onboarding form. It will only discuss what you’ve told it about. We configure it to say “I’ll connect you with the owner for that” for anything outside its training data — rather than making things up. If you ever spot an error, message us and we’ll correct it within 1 business day.
Is this available in Singapore and the Philippines as well?
Yes. SME Go Digital is available in Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines. Pricing shown here is in RM for the Malaysia market — SG and PH pricing is quoted in local equivalent on request. We’re familiar with each market’s business context, so your page and AI are configured accordingly — including local language, currency, and relevant trust signals.
How does billing work?
There’s no setup fee — you’re charged the plan’s monthly rate when you sign up, and that’s it. Billing is via Stripe. You can cancel anytime before the next billing date — you’ll simply lose access to your page at the end of the current billing month. Two ways to save: prepay 6 months and get 1 month free, or prepay 12 months and get 2 months free. Refer another business owner who signs up, and you both get 1 month free after their first payment.
How exactly does the referral bonus work?
Introduce another business owner who signs up for SME Go Digital, and once they make their first payment, you both get 1 month free credited to your subscriptions. No limit on how many people you refer — every successful introduction earns another free month.
Do you take a commission on my sales?
No. Zero commission on every plan, including Lite. Your subscription is the only thing you pay us — everything you sell through your page or your AI assistant is 100% yours.
Can I upgrade or downgrade between plans?
Yes. You can switch between Lite, Premium, and Premium+ at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. If you upgrade from Lite to Premium, the AI is trained and integrated within 2 business days of your upgrade.
